and I'm so grateful that you're here!
Google MyMap is the main way I'm organizing my
ongoing research, the basis for the pictorial map.

I believe humans and wildlife share the same fate, and
dogs aren't just along for the ride. They've always been game changers in our relationship with the rest of the natural world. Ecodogs are nature's bestie.

Our flagship program will invite you to send support to
paws on the ground with conservation professionals.
When you adopt an ecodog, you'll receive:
• The world map as a poster or placemat
• A portrait of your chosen canine as a postcard
• Quarterly updates from the field to your
inbox or mailbox for a year

Canines and COLLABs
A Quick Guide to Ecodogs and the Google MyMap that I developed in the process of making the pictorial map
are just the beginning for Ecodog Roll Call, and they're themselves 'in progress.' I'm all ears in welcoming any additional data, corrections, clarifications, or requests
for removal. This living map project will evolve as we do.
Over fall and winter, I'll be recruiting candidates for the
Roll Call's adoption program and making portraits of the dogs on that roster. Prospective adoptable ecodogs will be working as sniffers for science, zoo buddies, livestock guardians, crime fighters, and/or biosecurity defenders,
or they'll be involved in unique or emerging ecodog efforts. To nominate a dog you know, or know of, drop me a note!
